DirectionsPreparation: 1. Empty pouch contents into a mixing bowl. 2. In small skillet melt 0.75 cup (1.5 sticks) butter or margarine. If desired saute 1 medium onion minced and 2/3 cup diced celery in the butter. 3. Pour butter (and vegetables) over stuffing mix. Add 3.5 cups water. (For a drier more crumbly stuffing add 3 cups water. For a moister stuffing add 3-2/3 cups water). Toss lightly with a fork to blend. Cover let stand 5 minutes before using. Pack lightly in turkey cavity. Stuffs 20 pounds of poultry. Refrigerate any leftover stuffing. Do not stuff bird until ready to roast.
